Why You Should Build An Online Presence? (With Action Steps)

I have always believed in honesty.

That’s why everything you will read today is a true and honest story.

Let’s start from the beginning. Back in 2021, fear took over my mind. The fear of failing and being embarrassed, combined with a lack of confidence, all of these (excuses) stopped me from posting online, writing my thoughts and insights, and putting myself out there.

If you think in 2024, if you or your business are not on social media, you don’t exist; the loss of clients and opportunities is huge, and you can’t afford it. Here’s a quick example from yesterday: I posted on my 𝕏 account, and in an hour, I already got five new followers and messages from people who showed interest in content and what I do.

This is just the tip of the iceberg; thousands of examples will prove my point.
Let’s jump to the big Q:

Why Should You Start Sharing Your Work Online?

There are three main reasons:
  • Cultivate a Network: Show Your Work emphasizes creating and maintaining a network of like-minded individuals who can support, inspire, and help promote your work. Networking is a two-way street, focusing not only on what you can gain but also on what you can contribute to others.

  • Embrace Vulnerability: Openness and vulnerability in your work are essential for growth and fostering connections. By sharing your challenges, failures, and doubts, you enable others to connect with you more profoundly, fostering genuine relationships.

  • The book (“Show Your Work”) emphasizes the importance of sharing your work, even if it is still in progress. This allows others to see your process, learn from it, and potentially provide valuable feedback or collaboration opportunities.

    Action Steps:
    • DM me on 𝕏, and I will check your profile for FREE.

    • Write down three topics that you want to write about.

    • Research the top creators of these topics and see what is working.

    • Try it yourself. You will find your voice, but you need consistency and patience.

    There are more!
But these steps are an excellent place to start.

That's a wrap!

It’s easy today to pick up your phone and write something online.
The challenge is to find people who resonate with you and your story ( Be Consistent! ) and to know how to monetize it to build a thriving brand.

See you next Saturday,

Nadav
